A Mission Statement of A Christian

Hello All,

As per Dr. Covey's book - the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People - the first step towards success is to create your mission statement.

Below is the mission statement of a Christian who at this writing prefers to remain in anonimity.
I think its good and can guide others as an example when writing their mission statements.
The principles starts witht the letters that form the word CHRIST but these principles are not exclusive to Christianity but rather Universal principles embraced by almost all religions and cultures.

Hope this helps!

  1. MISSION STATEMENT
My personal mission is to love God, my Family and my fellow men and be with God in His Holy Kingdom.

  1. Principles

To fulfill my mission I will live as a True Christian imbued with the following virtues:

Charity: I will love others as I love myself. I will always have empathy, praise and encourage other people and think thrice before criticizing others. I will sacrifice for my loved ones.

Humility: I surrender myself to the will of God and entrust my life unto Him. I will have absolute obedience to all of God’s commandments as written in the Holy Scriptures.

Righteousness: I am righteous. I will always do the right things as guided by the Words of God or by the wisdom I mustered. I am a Principle-centered person.
Industry: I work hard to harvest the fruits of Good Work. The harvest fields are full – I will be vigilant and work hard in doing my chosen vocation, my job, my duties in the church and strive with my best effort to bring Glory to God. I will also do the work of God – spread the good news of salvation for the time is near and we ought to save as much souls as we can. Like the farmer or the fisherman I will wake up early each day and start my activities with vigor.
Spirituality: I live in the Spiritual realm of the Universe - and realize that we are in the middle of a War between Christ and Satan – between Good and Evil. With the Holy Armor I will fight in the side of Light along with God’s children. I will win the greatest battle – the one in my own heart.
Talent Multiplication: I will multiply and expand all my talents that God has given me to serve God and for the benefit of mankind. My technical prowess, my multilingual capability, my business and human relations skills will be maximized and continuously be developed so I can add the greatest value I can to the world. And when I do so the world will grant me my just compensation and I will live in financial/economic freedom.
