Learning American History

Back in High School , during the late 80s, I saw tons of American History books in our library and was looking forward to learn more about our 2nd conqueror.

But it turned out that the subject was scrapped just before our UST-EHS school batch (Is it perhaps due to the growing anti-american sentiment in the universities ? I remember Students , particularly from UP marching the streets shouting slogans against "imperialistic regimes". )

Anyways, I am realized how much I missed while watching Hollywood movies and american tv dramas. They almost constantly refer to historical events in U.S. history that I am not familiar with. I sometimes felt lost and "out of league".

Luckily, I asked my colleague, Bill, and he taught me the site below to be a place to start:

Hope y'all enjoy !

Thanks, Bill !
