I remember when a popular Filipina singer made an insulting commenton one of the audiences in one of her concerts and the media attacked her. I still remember vividly - I can picture my elementary school classroom decorated with posters of famous quotations. Perhaps I was grade 2 in P. Gomez, Elementary School a leading public school in Manila and if I am not mistaken my English teacher was a kind old lady named Mrs. Rivera.
